is a Portuguese shoe brand that exclusively produces vegan shoes. The shoes are made in Portugal under fair working conditions. NAE combines design with sustainability. Microfibers, Pinatex, cork, recycled PET bottles and other more environmentally friendly leather alternatives are used.
The microfibers used by NAE are tested for harmful substances and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. The production of the fibers is much more environmentally friendly than the "production" of leather.
Cork is a natural raw material that is obtained from the cork oak by peeling it without damaging the tree. The cork used for the shoes is recyclable.
The NAE PET shoes are made from recycled PET bottles and car tires.
Pinatex is made from the leaves of the pineapple harvest.
